Immigration Document Preparation in Orlando

A USCIS case rarely fails on the merits. It fails because an edition date was old, a signature was missing, or a birth certificate showed up in Spanish without a certified translation. We prepare immigration paperwork for families in Orlando and across the country, and we do it in the language you actually speak.

Immigration Forms We Prepare

The family based petitions and the status applications that go with them, which is where most of our clients are.

That means family petitions, adjustment of status, green card renewals and replacements, removal of conditions on a two year residency, naturalization, fiancé visa petitions, re entry permits, employment authorization, affidavits of support, consular processing paperwork through the National Visa Center, and changes or extensions of nonimmigrant status.

Some of these forms are submitted together in one package and some are filed in sequence. QPS provides nonlawyer immigration document-preparation services. At Quality Paralegal Services, Inés prepares forms and supporting document packages based on the service requested and the information and documents provided by the client.

What to know

What Does Nonlawyer Immigration Document Preparation Include?

QPS provides nonlawyer immigration document-preparation services. Inés prepares forms and supporting document packages based on the service requested and the information and documents provided by the client.

For most immigration matters, Inés remains available throughout the process, including when additional document preparation is needed, through completion of the matter.

Quality Paralegal Services is not a law firm and Inés is not an attorney. She is a document preparer. In Spanish speaking communities that distinction gets blurred, because a notario publico in Latin America is a licensed attorney and in the United States a notary is not. We say it plainly to every client in both languages: we prepare documents, we do not give legal advice, and we do not represent anyone before USCIS or in immigration court.

If you need legal advice, an eligibility determination, legal representation before USCIS or immigration court, or advice regarding immigration consequences, you should consult with a qualified immigration attorney. What we bring is someone who has worked in the legal field since 1998 and who reviews the completed packet before it goes out.

When Should You Consult an Immigration Attorney?

Quality Paralegal Services assists individuals and families with immigration document preparation. However, certain immigration situations may require legal advice or representation from a qualified immigration attorney.

If your situation involves a prior deportation order, criminal history, immigration court proceedings, or other complicated legal issues, consulting an immigration attorney may be appropriate.

Quality Paralegal Services is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice or representation.

Green Card and Citizenship Timelines

Timelines depend on the type of case and on USCIS processing, which QPS does not control. It is worth understanding before you start counting months.

Immediate relatives of US citizens, meaning spouses, parents, and unmarried children under twenty one, do not wait for a visa number. Their cases move as fast as USCIS processes them. Everyone else falls into a preference category where a visa number has to become available first, and those queues are published monthly and can run years depending on the category and country of birth.

Naturalization has its own clock. You generally need five years as a lawful permanent resident, or three if you are married to and living with a US citizen, plus continuous residence, physical presence, and the civics and English portions of the interview. Inés prepares the application based on the information and documents provided and reviews the completed forms with the client before filing.

Two deadlines catch people every year. Conditional residents have a ninety day window before the two year card expires to file for removal of conditions, and missing it has consequences. Green card renewals should start roughly six months out.

Know Your Deadlines
  • 90 daysBefore your 2-year conditional card expires is the filing window for removal of conditions
  • 6 MonthsBefore your green card expires, start the renewal process well in advance

Wherever You Are

We Work With Clients Across Florida and Beyond

Immigration filings are federal, so where you live matters far less here than it does for a divorce.

Roughly one in five of our clients never comes to the office. We handle the intake by phone, exchange documents electronically, and where something needs a notarized signature we use remote online notarization instead of asking you to drive. We have prepared filings for clients in other states who have never met Inés in person. Given what these cases mean to a family, that trust is not something we take casually.

For clients who are local, the office is on East Colonial Drive in Orlando, and most people still prefer to sit down and go through the documents across a desk. Biometrics appointments and interviews happen at the USCIS facilities serving Central Florida, and we will tell you what to expect at each one.

Tell Us About Your Case

The first conversation costs nothing. After discussing the immigration document-preparation service you are requesting, Inés explains the preparation process, which documents will be prepared, and the flat fee. If you need legal advice, an eligibility determination, or legal representation, you should consult with a qualified immigration attorney.

Have an urgent deadline? Inés is available to assist with emergency filings, expedited document preparation, and same-day electronic filing when needed. Additional fees may apply.

Review Your Documents Before You Sign. Whenever applicable, Inés emails your completed documents before the signing appointment so you have time to review the information carefully and request any necessary corrections.

Call (407) 504-0877, or message us and we will respond within 12 hours. Start with the first conversation and we take it from there.
