About Quality Paralegal Services

This is a two-person office on East Colonial Drive. That is not a limitation we apologize for. It is the reason the person who takes your first call is the same person who prepares your documents and the same person who answers when you call back six weeks later with a question.

What “Non-lawyer Document Preparer” Actually Means

It means Inés prepares documents directly for people who are representing themselves, and it means she is not an attorney and does not work for one. Both halves of that sentence matter.

Florida has a credential called Florida Registered Paralegal, and Inés does not hold it. The designation requires working under the supervision of a licensed attorney, and she works directly with the public instead, as independent document preparation offices do. She also holds a Florida notary commission, including registration to perform remote online notarization.

We put this on the website deliberately, because the alternative is what happens in a lot of this industry. In Spanish-speaking communities in particular, the word notario carries a meaning it does not have here. In much of Latin America a notario publico is a licensed attorney with real authority. In the United States a notary is someone authorized to verify a signature. People get hurt in that gap every year.

Quality Paralegal Services is not a law firm. Inés does not give legal advice, does not represent anyone in court, and does not represent anyone before USCIS. She prepares documents. If you need legal advice or legal representation, you should consult with an attorney.

Why Did Inés Found Quality Paralegal Services?

In 2020, Inés founded Quality Paralegal Services to provide people representing themselves with experienced, personalized document-preparation services.

Attorneys and document preparers do different work, and Inés respects the role attorneys play. QPS provides a different type of service: nonlawyer document preparation for people who have decided to represent themselves, including in uncontested divorce and other Family Law matters, at a flat fee quoted before any work begins.

What Inés brings is the experience of many years working alongside attorneys in the Orlando area. She has spent that time with legal documents, court filings and court procedures, and she puts it to work for each person who comes through the door, one file at a time.

Maria A. Diaz Beltre

Administrative Assistant

Maria A. Diaz Beltre keeps the office running and is often the person who gets back to you first.

That is the whole roster. Two people, both fluent in English and Spanish, both reachable. There is no intake department, no case manager you get handed off to after the consultation, and no rotating cast of names on your file. Inés prepares the documents herself on every case that comes through the door.

The tradeoff is honest and worth stating. QPS does not provide legal representation, and does not pretend otherwise. What a two-person office can do is give each file actual attention. When a client calls with a question about something the court mailed them, the person who answers already knows the case.

What to Expect When You Hire Us

A flat price quoted before you commit, documents prepared by the person you spoke to, and someone who is still there when the court sends you something confusing.

The first conversation is free and it is not a sales call. After discussing the document-preparation services you want, Inés explains which documents will be prepared and provides the flat fee. Court cases run on the court's calendar, and Inés gives you a realistic estimate on the first call. QPS provides nonlawyer document-preparation services. If you need legal advice or legal representation, you should consult with an attorney.

Review Your Documents Before You Sign. Whenever applicable, Inés emails your completed documents before the signing appointment so you have time to review the information carefully and request any necessary corrections before you sign.

Many clients have left five-star Google reviews for this office. They are not all saying the same thing, but the theme that comes up most is not price. It is that someone paid attention. Clients tell us they needed someone who listened first, prepared the documents based on the information they provided, communicated while it was in progress, and stayed reachable afterward. For uncontested divorces, Inés stays with you from preparation and filing through the closing of the case. For most immigration matters, she remains available through completion of the matter.
